There was much excitement last Thursday as our school was visited by Newcastle Knight Matt Soper-Lawler and Area Manager Chris Brennan. They spoke to the students about the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle with the focus being on getting enough sleep, eating well, drinking lots of water and exercising. Matt explained to the students how crucial these factors were in his success at the Knights.
The students were also excited to learn that Matt was the younger brother of our Stage 2 teacher Mr Ingram. We thank both Matt and Chris for a very entertaining and informative afternoon. Our children were extremely engaged and focused on these very important lessons.
