Starting school is an important step in a child's life. At King Street Public School we believe in the importance of strong home/school, parent/teacher partnerships from the very first day of your child's schooling. For this reason, we organise preschool visits and an 8 week Kindergarten Transition Program. The Transition Program provides opportunities for children starting Kindergarten to settle in to school routine, meet their teachers, mix with groups of other children and engage in both structured and unstructured play activities.

It is a requirement of the NSW Department of Education and Communities that all parents/carers fill in an enrolment form for their children. Please follow the above link to access this form. It can be completed and sent/dropped in to our office at any time.
